As we were moving into our cabin (#3) I noticed that it seemed a little dirty and when I began to set up our bedding I noticed a large amount of mouse droppings in the bunk. We checked the bunk of the other family we were camping with in cabin #4 (who had 2 kids) and noticed the same issue. As we investigated, it looked as if there were several seasons worth of droppings in the bunks.

The campsite was very disappointing. There was trash strewn throughout the site and used toilet paper in the woods about ten feet from our tent. We soon realized that the bathrooms were a 1/4 mile away or a ten minute walk round trip. The bathroom smell was so overwhelming we had to leave the site. We were offered cabin tents but when setting up our bedding found mouse droppings on the bunks. We were so disgusted we demanded a refund and found a nearby motel to stay in for the remainder of our trip. We will never go back.

Unless you are camping in an RV I would avoid this campground at all costs due to *unsanitary* conditions.

Also watch out when turning into the campground they have two post for a chain to close the road that are right at the corner. They are in a very bad place! They damaged my trailer!!!!!! 8000$ damage

We immediately went to the office to complain and the attendant didn't charge for the previous night and offered to move us into the "wooden tents" or cabins (#3 & #4) right on the water.

The next day as the weather warmed we started noticing an overpowering bathroom smell coming from the woods right next to our tent. Upon investigating, we found that previous campers had been using the woods directly behind the site as a latrine with used toilet paper strewn everywhere. Not to excuse their actions, we believe this is a direct result of having a minimum 10 minute round-trip walk to the bathrooms.

Kind of a disappointing camp ground . Noisy people beside us . Bathrooms were a trek. We were over charged at registration and in the morning no one was in the office to refund us. Probably would not stay here again- would find a different camp ground .

We returned to the office to demand our money back. The attendant offered us a 3 room cottage instead but we figured that with such an obvious lack of standards it wasn't worth our time and we left to stay at a nearby motel.

The owners, Blaine & Cheryl DesRoches, obviously need to take an interest in *all* of their customers and provide a basic level of cleanliness that anyone would expect. Even a couple of Porta-Johns closer to the tenting sites would go a long way.

We went ahead and set up camp - at the time it was around 50 degrees (fahrenheit) windy and drizzling so we didn't notice anything else wrong with the site.

This experience was bad enough on it's own, but I used to camp at Woolastook Park as a child with my family and it pains me to see what it has become.

This campground is primarily geared towards seasonal RV campers with little or no regard or consideration to tent campers or campers using the "wooden tents" or cabins.

After setup we realized that the bathrooms/showers were at least a 1/4 mile walk back through the campground (verified on Google Maps). Just to note, the closest tenting site to the bathrooms was still further away than any of the camper/RV sites.

Stuck in between two permanent because they lost our reservation we did over a month ago!

When we arrived at our campsite (#214 Bear Paw), we found a large amount of trash in the fire-pit area and it was obvious that although the site had been vacant for days, it had not been cleaned or tended to.

We considered moving to another tenting site nearby, but found the same issue in all the sites we checked (soiled toilet paper & trash).
